This is a static page, not a live status monitor. Server lists, pairings and transfer dates come from NC’s own notices; anything else is marked Unverified.
Quick answer. Aion 2 Global has five regions – Europe, NA East, NA West, Latin America and Asia – with about 52 Elyos/Asmodian server pairs. Pick the region nearest you, then the faction and server your friends use. A free one-time transfer runs Oct 14–28 (same region and faction only). To see if the game is down, use NC’s notice board, Steam news or @Aion2Official on X.
Server list by region
Each row is one pairing: the Elyos server and the Asmodian server it fights in the Abyss. Advanced Access servers opened on Sept 30 for Founder’s Pack owners and are now open to all. Source: NC, New Server and Matchmaking Information, updated 2026-10-09 Global.

How to choose a server
Go down the table and stop at the first line that fits. Region matters most because combat is action-based and you can’t change region later.

Server transfer: rules and windows
NC’s first transfer is free and split in two weeks: Advanced Access servers first, then launch servers. You can only buy it in the Shop during your region’s daily windows. Times below switch to your own clock and show “Ended” once the period is over.
Server transfer runs Oct 14 – Oct 28 (CEST dates), in two weeks.

Most progress moves with the character: Daevanion, skills, Arcana, wings, Pantheon, Abyss time and season points. Pets and skins move to the new server and leave the old one. Full list in NC’s Q&A (NCQ).
Server status, queues and maintenance
We don’t run a live checker. These are NC’s own channels (verified 2026-10-13), fastest first:
- Official notice board on aion2.plaync.com – maintenance, outages, known issues.

- NC support – account locks and tickets.
Weekly maintenance pattern Global: so far on Wednesdays from 06:30 UTC (23:30 PDT Tuesday, 08:30 CEST), with four hours scheduled on Oct 14. That is just before the 07:00 UTC weekly reset in our daily checklist. Extra fixes have used the same slot (Oct 9).

Population notes
NC does not publish server population, and we only cite NC. The one official figure is 400,000 active players, posted on Oct 5 (NCP). Third-party trackers count characters they have indexed, not live players, so we don’t reproduce their numbers. A practical signal is in game: a login queue or a closed character creation means a server is near its limit, and NC opens new servers where demand is highest (Nathara / Tassin on Oct 8).
Global vs Korea/Taiwan

Does Aion 2 have NA servers?
Yes. Global has NA East and NA West, plus Europe, Latin America and Asia.
Can you switch or transfer servers in Aion 2?
Yes, through a free one-time transfer: Advanced Access servers from Oct 14 to 21 and launch servers from Oct 21 to 28 (CEST dates), same region and faction only.
Is Aion 2 region locked?
You pick a region when you log in and your characters live there; transfers cannot change region. Korea and Taiwan are separate services.
Is Aion 2 cross-server?
Dungeons and other instances match across servers, and paired servers of the other faction meet in the Abyss and Spacetime Rifts.
Why can't I connect to the game server?
Check the official notices for maintenance or a regional incident first. A queue means the server is up but full.
Is Aion 2 under maintenance today?
Weekly maintenance has so far been on Wednesdays around 06:30 UTC for about four hours. The official notice board and Steam news give each date.
Which Aion 2 server is best?
The one closest to you, on the faction and server your friends use. Nobody outside NC sees live population, so treat counts as rough.
How many people are playing Aion 2?
NC thanked 400,000 active players on Oct 5. Server-level counts are only estimates from third-party crawlers.
Is Aion 2 ping reliant?
Yes, it is action combat, so play in the closest region.
