Aion 2 Spiritmaster (Elementalist) Build

This Spiritmaster build summarises community guides for Global and is checked against our damage model. NC publishes no builds, so nothing here is official; badges show where community reports agree or differ. Builds change with patches, so check the date.
Spiritmaster is the Global name for the orb summoner that Korean guides call the Elementalist. One rule shapes the class: a spirit copies your stats and buffs at the moment you summon it, so buffs always come first. Damage peaks when four elements fill up and Elemental Fusion fires.
Spiritmaster stat priority (from our calculator)
Every class shares the same top three on a typical Global sheet: Smite (with party Smite) (+0.95%), Attack Increase (+0.76%), Combat Speed (+0.74%). What changes for the Spiritmaster is below.
| Question | Spiritmaster answer | Numbers (+1 point) |
|---|---|---|
| Crit rate or crit damage? | Crit damage wins | Crit rate +0.26% (= 6.1 Attack) · Crit damage +0.40% (= 9.2 Attack) |
| Front/back damage boost? | Dead stat for this class: skip it | 0% |
| Smite vs boss resist | Bosses resist 30% Smite. Solo with 25% Smite you are below it, so Smite adds nothing; with 10% party Smite every point counts. | Solo +0.00% · Party +0.95% |
Open the Spiritmaster preset in the calculator Example sheet: ~1,800 attack, 45% crit, 5% crit damage boost, 25% Smite, boss target. Your gear changes the order: enter your own numbers.
Spiritmaster note: Spirits snapshot your sheet, so every stat point counts twice. Front/back damage is a dead stat in our model, but one community guide still lists Front Attack manastones and admits players disagree; we flag it rather than recommend it.

Spiritmaster rotation and macro
- Flame Blessing, Spirit's Benediction, then Summon: Ancient Spirit

"Two-hold": hold Cold Shock and the macro key together. Buffs before summons, always – spirits copy your buffs only when summoned.
Keep manual: Flame Blessing, Summon: Ancient Spirit, Rapid Scattershot, Defiance.
Another guide agrees on the burst order but gives less detail on the stacks.

PvP notes
- Ancient Spirit, Spirit's Benediction, Command: Proxy and Seize Magic
- Corrode replaces Proxy against healers
- Push Defiance and Jointstrike: Curse to 20
- One community guide wants 65%+ Combat Speed and low ping for smooth weaving
Where guides disagree
- Front Attack manastones: one community guide lists them, notes some players say the kit barely uses frontal hits; our model treats the stat as dead.
- Elemental Fusion specializations: the charged version versus the standard set has not been measured on Global.
- Third and fourth stigmas vary between community guides.
Global vs Korea notes
- Korean and some database sites still say Elementalist; it is the same class.
- One community guide says class choices come from Taiwanese players and nobody had played Global at level 45 for long when it was written.
FAQ
Is the Spiritmaster the same as the Elementalist?
Yes. Global calls the class Spiritmaster; Korean guides and many databases use Elementalist.
What is the best Spiritmaster build in Aion 2?
Elemental Fusion, Combustion and Fire Spirit to 20, with Ancient Spirit, Spirit's Benediction, Flame Blessing and Corrode. Always buff before you summon.
Why does summon order matter?
Spirits copy your stats and buffs at the moment they are summoned; a buff cast afterwards does nothing for that spirit.
Do Front Attack manastones work on a Spiritmaster?
Unclear. One community guide lists them, other players say the kit rarely lands frontal hits, and our model counts them as zero.
Sorcerer or Elementalist?
Elementalist is sturdier at range and keeps damage up while moving; Sorcerer has more direct burst but tighter mana.
